LIEGE!!

hey!

just came back from liege today - it snowed! (haha) so when we woke up today the roofs were covered in snow - pretty! (: but we woke up late and slept through our alarms so xiuli had to personally come over & knock on the door to chase us up. oops. :s

AND did you know that Liege's river market (basically like a pasar malam which only opens on sunday) ROCKS? i bought a nice wooly scarf plus had a delicious roasted drumstick (YUMMYLICIOUS) for only 1.50€. the scarf was 2 for 6 € so xingy the nene & i bought one each & split. woohoo. all that happened yesterday while we were freezing our butts off as the wind just blew & blew! while i'm blogging, i'm uploading the photos onto the computer & the process is rather slow. 

my roommates are NOISY. i think one of them is drunk 'cuz they had a birthday party at the kitchen which is next to my room. ok it's been a while since i wrote the previous paragraph 'cuz i was doing other things like watching shows and then i got distracted ahaha. ok so on with uploading the photos. i heard we can only upload 5 for each post. how ridiculous is that la?

haha the photo above is actually the first day when we were walking through the river market. the clouds were just so beautiful, couldn't resist the picture. hehe. and at this place was where i had my delicious chicken leg for only ONE FIFTY EUROS & also my scarf for three euros. super bien! (: the river market was along the road next to the river, so we had to walk down the market (might as well) in order to get to our hotel. haha man sundays at liege really rock. the stuff at the market were really cheap. boots for 10€, bags & jackets for 5€ - unbelievable, honestly.

And here's the cathedral - St Paul(?) that looks really nice & gothicky so i snapped a picture. we went in 'cuz it was a sunday & everything else was closed & they had german musicians who played the flute & guitar - brillant music! so it was a nice distraction. haha i shall end it off here now 'cuz it's past one & time for me to go to bed even though hair's not dry yet. EGAD. it's been like what, 2 hours? stupid humidity. can't seem to run away from it. WAHA.
